The latest CHP series on the history of China-Vietnam relations continues with Part 5. We pick up where we left off in the last episode, in the early years of the Later Lê Dynasty…early to mid-1400s.
We’ll get as far as the end of the 19th century and the arrival of the French. I won’t get into too much detail on their Indochinese enterprise unless there’s overlap with China.
