Laszlo is back after another long delay. The China History Podcast proudly presents Part 1 of a 10-Part series that will explore the history of Hong Kong.

In this Part 1 episode, Laszlo starts at the very beginning and traces Hong Kong from the Devonian Period all the way up the end of the Ming Dynasty in the 17th century.

Contrary to popular knowledge, the history of Hong Kong did not start in 1842. There’s a lot more to the story.
