The Qin Dynasty marked a major milestone for the empire of China, as it was the starting point for the imperial dynasty system and was the first time China became unified. Despite all of these advances, the dynasty lasted only a mere 15 years, and quickly collapsed into ruin following the death of Qin Shi Huang.
